intermittent - stopping and starting at irregular intervals; stopping and starting at regular intervals
ebb - the outward flow of the tide; a gradual decline (in size or strength or power or number); verb fall away or decline; hem in fish with stakes and nets so as to prevent them from going back into the sea with the ebb; flow back or recede
regress - the reasoning involved when you assume the conclusion is true and reason backward to the evidence; returning to a former state; verb get worse or fall back to a previous condition; go back to a statistical means; go back to bad behavior; go back to a previous state
tendency - a characteristic likelihood of or natural disposition toward a certain condition or character or effect; a general direction in which something tends to move; an attitude of mind especially one that favors one alternative over others; an inclination to do something
antiseptic - (extended sense) of exceptionally clean language; clean and honest; thoroughly clean and free of or destructive to disease-causing organisms; made free from live bacteria or other microorganisms; freeing from error or corruption; noun a substance that destroys micro-organisms that carry disease without harming body tissues
