faith - loyalty or allegiance to a cause or a person; complete confidence in a person or plan etc; a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; an institution to express belief in a divine power
threshold - the smallest detectable sensation; the starting point for a new state or experience; the sill of a door; a horizontal piece of wood or stone that forms the bottom of a doorway and offers support when passing through a doorway; the entrance (the space in a wall) through which you enter or leave a room or building; the space that a door can close; a region marking a boundary
tarry - having the characteristics of pitch or tar; verb leave slowly and hesitantly; be about

pious - having or showing or expressing reverence for a deity; devoutly religious
frenzy - state of violent mental agitation
